A runner is the band of fabric laid across the foot of a bed, the finishing touch you see in good hotels. We make each one by hand in our Blackburn studio, to fit the bed size you choose.
What size bed runner do I need for a king size bed?
For a king size bed, choose our King runner, which is 240cm long. Our Double runner is 220cm and our Super King runner is 260cm, so pick the one that matches your bed. Each size comes in two depths, 65cm or 130cm, and prices start from about £169.
Should I choose a 65cm or 130cm runner?
Choose 65cm for a classic hotel band across the foot of the bed, and 130cm if you want the runner to cover more of the duvet. The deeper runner makes more of a statement and works almost like a light throw. Both depths are made to order and despatched within 10 working days.
How do I style a hotel bed runner?
Lay the runner across the lower third of the bed so it hangs evenly over both sides. Repeat its fabric in a bolster cushion or a pair of square cushions by the pillows. Some of our runners have contrasting piping, which pairs well with piped cushions.
