Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information KK Pearl Decor collects when you visit kkpearldecor.com, place an order or contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Last updated 4 November 2026.

Who we are

KK Pearl Decor is the trading name of K K Pearl Decor Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13378991, VAT number GB380442017). Our registered office is 21 Bailey Close, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB2 4FT. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at customer@kkpearldecor.com.

What we collect

Orders: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number, what you ordered, any personalisation or order notes, the discount code used and how you paid. We never see or store your full card details.
Your account: if you create one, your name, email address, a securely hashed password, saved addresses and your order history. Two factor authentication details are stored if you turn it on.
Messages and reviews: what you send through our contact form, and the name, email address and words of any review you leave.
Newsletter: your email address if you sign up to our mailing list.
Website use: the technical information your browser sends (such as IP address and browser type) in our server logs, and, only if you allow it, analytics and advertising information described under Cookies below.

Why we use it

To take payment for, make, deliver and support your order, and to send you emails about it (order confirmation, dispatch with tracking, refunds). This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
To keep records for tax and accounting. This is a legal obligation; HMRC requires us to keep sales records for six years.
To answer your messages, publish approved reviews and protect the shop from fraud and spam. These are our legitimate interests.
To send our newsletter, and to use analytics and advertising cookies, only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the shop, each under contract and only for the purpose described:

Stripe processes all payments on our site, including cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
Klarna and Clearpay receive your details when you choose to pay with them, and may run credit checks under their own privacy policies.
Royal Mail receives your name and delivery address to deliver your order.
Laravel Cloud hosts our website and database in the United Kingdom.
Resend sends our order and account emails and, if you subscribe, our newsletter.
Zoho provides our email inbox, so it holds any emails you send us.
Google (Google Analytics) and TikTok receive analytics and advertising information only if you accept those cookies.
Behold supplies the Instagram posts on our homepage. The images are loaded from Behold's servers, which receive your IP address.

Some of these companies process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK US Data Bridge.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your bag and protect forms from misuse. They are needed for the shop to work, so they do not need consent. We also remember your cookie choices in a cookie called kk_consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how the site is used, and marketing cookies (TikTok) help us measure our adverts. We only set these if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

How long we keep it

Orders and the records that go with them: six years after the end of the financial year of the order, for HMRC.
Your account: until you ask us to close it. Orders placed through it are kept as above.
Contact messages: up to two years after we last hear from you.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any newsletter email.
Server logs: a few weeks.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email customer@kkpearldecor.com and we will reply within one month. Some information, such as order records we must keep for tax, cannot be deleted until the retention period ends.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Keeping it safe

Our site uses HTTPS throughout, passwords are stored as secure hashes, payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and only the people who run the shop can open the admin, protected by two factor authentication.

We will update this page if how we use your information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
