About our Clarke & Clarke fabric cushions

This page gathers every piece we make in Clarke & Clarke fabric. We are not affiliated with Clarke & Clarke. We are a family of trained tailors, and we make each piece by hand in our studio in Blackburn, Lancashire.

What is the Clarke and Clarke Tessere design?

Tessere is a metallic geometric design from Clarke & Clarke, and one of the most popular fabrics in our shop. The metallic finish catches the light, so it suits a living room or bedroom that needs a little shine. Pair it with plainer cushions so the pattern can stand out.

What size cushion should I choose?

For a sofa, 18x18 or 20x20 inches is the easiest place to start, with 22x22 inches or larger for deep seats. Square cushions in our shop come in sizes from 16x16 to 26x26 inches, as a cover only or with a duck feather inner. Our luxury square cushions page has more sizing help.

Why does my cushion look slightly different from the photo?

Each cover shows a slightly different cut of the fabric because of the size of the pattern repeat. On a bold geometric like Tessere, the pattern may sit a little higher or lower on your cushion. To check colours before ordering, ask us for a fabric sample.
