About our luxury square cushions

Christina and her husband are professionally trained tailors, and square cushions are the heart of what we make. Each one is cut and sewn by hand in our studio in Blackburn, Lancashire, using fabric from British fabric houses.

What size cushion is best for a sofa?

For most sofas, 18x18 or 20x20 inch cushions are the easiest size to live with. Larger sofas with deep seats suit 22x22 or 24x24 inches, and 26x26 works well at the back of a big corner sofa. We make square cushions in 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 inches, so you can mix two sizes for a layered look.

Should I buy a cover only or a cushion with an inner?

Choose a cover only if you already have inners that fit, and a duck feather inner if you want the cushion ready to use straight away. Feather inners give that full, plump shape you see in hotels. Prices run from about £20 for a 16 inch cover only to about £86 for the largest sizes.

How long do handmade cushions take to arrive?

Every cushion is made to order and despatched within 10 working days. UK delivery by Royal Mail costs £3.60. We also send worldwide for £17 by Royal Mail International Tracked, delivered duty paid, so there is nothing extra to pay on arrival. Unsure of a colour? Order a fabric sample first.
